Annelise has spent 2 summers volunteering with the Akaa Project, and she saw how people are able to create amazing changes in their own community when they re given the opportunity. The teachers at the Asiafo Amanfro Community School, who are all community members, have changed the lives of so many students. The Akaa Project is focused on teacher training. As a teacher, I know how the impact of teacher education can improve quality of education and the future lives of so many young children.
